Where We Are

Traveling has always been fun for me and traveling with a group makes life very interesting.  With all the different personalities, there is never a dull moment and lots of laughs.  traveling in a minivan with 6 to 7 people and their luggage can make things a little cramped, add someone who is handicapped to the mix and well, we needed a better way to travel.  Enter the bus.  We were able to find a bus but it required a complete conversion with specific adjustments made for Jonathan.  The bathroom area needs to be bigger than the normal bus conversion.  The bunks need to be a bit wider and the living area needs to be able to accommodate his specific needs.  We had to totally gut the inside of the bus in order to rebuild it how we need it.  Add to that, the person who sold us the bus did not disclose that their were some mechanical issues that we will have to address as well as the conversion.  We thought seriously about selling the bus and just continued are 18th year of travel in the cramped minivan but we would have not made back the money we had already spent on this conversion. to be completely honest we have no clue what we are doing and thankfully we have someone who is helping us with the conversion and by help I mean he is physically unable to do any of the work because of a shoulder injury, so now we are waiting his healing so he can tell us what to do and make sure we are doing it correctly.  I am a firm believer in “ye have not because ye ask not” so we are asking for your help.  If you feel led to donate, it would be a big help and we would be very grateful.  No donation is too small and every donation makes YOU a part of our ministry.  Every penny donated to help us get this home away from home on the road will make those who donate a part of every soul that comes to Jesus and every soul that finds hope in our songs and testimonies.  I will be posting updates on this blog so you can see just how much help your donations are and what progress we are making.  Thank you in advance for your help and we will see you down the road.
